Preventative Maintenance

I started working on transmissions in 1986. I started out cleaning up the shop, taking out the trash, and servicing transmissions. Then I began to remove and reinstall transmissions. Then started tearing down the transmissions for the rebuilder. In 1988 after I graduated from high school my boss sent me to the American Transmission Institute of Chicago to learn how to rebuild and diagnose transmissions. I graduated in 1991 first in my class. In 1994 I became Aamco master certified. In 1995 I became ATRA certified rebuilder. In 1996 I became ASE certified in transmissions and manual drive trains and axles.
